New York Entrepreneur Rosalind Resnick Launches Axxess Business Centers, Inc.,
America's One-Stop Shop for Entrepreneurial Excellence

First Store Opens in Lower Manhattan at 128 Chambers Street

NEW YORK, September 17, 2002 - Rosalind Resnick, one of New York's leading entrepreneurs, reaches out to help entrepreneurial startups and small businesses with the launch of Axxess Business Centers' first walk-in storefront clinic in Lower Manhattan today. Resnick, who built her Internet marketing company, NetCreations, Inc., from a two-person home-based startup to a public company acquired for $111 million, plans to open additional centers in nine other major markets by 2004. Ms. Resnick has pledged up to $1 million of her own capital to fund this project.

"I believe in the strength and resiliency of New York City's business community and, after September 11, I made a commitment to helping revitalize downtown New York," said Rosalind Resnick, CEO and founder of Axxess Business Centers, Inc. "Our company's mission is to spearhead economic development by providing startups and existing businesses with access to high-quality management consulting services and the capital and professional resources they need to make their companies grow."

Staffed by experienced counselors using Web-based software tools to automate the process of creating business plans, developing marketing strategies and obtaining financing, Axxess Business Centers aims to make high-quality consulting services and low-cost financing available to millions of entrepreneurs -- regardless of gender, race, ethnicity or national origin -- and enable them to share the American Dream of business ownership. The center also features seminars, workshops and support groups led by professional speakers and successful entrepreneurs from various industries and backgrounds. Topics cover all aspects of building a business and making one's business succeed.

"America's 25 million small businesses employ more than 50 percent of the work force, generate more than half of the nation's gross domestic product, and contribute the lion's share of new jobs to the U.S. economy," Resnick said. "Unfortunately, most of these businesses, particularly companies owned by women and minorities, are destined to remain small because they lack the capital, management talent, and technical and marketing expertise to get to the next level."

"Even the brightest idea can't bloom in the dark," Resnick continued. "That's why our company has marshaled the vast resources of the Internet and the best small business advisors on the market to offer entrepreneurs top-drawer access to the information, capital and professional services needed to make a business grow at very affordable hourly rates." An initial face-to-face consultation with a counselor costs only $49.95.

Axxess Business Center's business hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Seminars led by professional speakers and successful entrepreneurs from various industries and enterprises, covering all aspects of building a business and making one's business exceed, will be held weeknights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Weekly networking events are held each Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and entrepreneur support groups are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
